random flowers . . .

I am just so enamored by all the new plantings at Robinson Preserve. They started blooming in late February, early March and each day I see them they are more and more beautiful. Wildflowers, perennials, some native, many thousands on many acres. I love the randomness of most of the pictures I've been taking of them. I like to let the camera take control of my eyes, too, so I'm just pointing my camera where I think I'll get something nice and wait to see how it turns out. And different cameras, different lenses give me various layers of clarity and depth. Here's one I took with an 80-400mm lens, pulled back to 80, looking east to the dark skies, perhaps a storm brewing, but where I was the sun was shining.
