The girl in the shed . . .

Joe and Tracy have had a “gnome theme” going on for awhile now in their yard décor. They quickly found a place for their newest gnome and Joe gave it his personal touch with a rope ladder he made from scraps.

Hey...can anyone see the resemblance?

The shed is something Joe made from pallets he found at curbside. He collected them for awhile, removed all the nails, cut the wood and built the shed. He installed the door and window, then added this composite picture he made to the window, laid the red block entryway, placed an old bench and another curbside find of the cement lion. I love how almost everything they use is repurposed and has a story.

The picture of the girl (Tracy) in the shed is a composite that Joe put together a few years ago. The lamppost in the picture is of an actual lamppost on Liberty Street, Franklin, PA, our home town.

Here’s the final picture.

Well, today I can say final picture. Who knows what will be next.
