More color in the garden of decadent decay with this little scenario. . .
That's a Potzpottery face vessel there in the front with a fresh new color for spring! My friend Debra made it a few years ago and gave it to me because she knows I love anything with a face on it. Anyway, it was a dark color and you could barely see the face. In fact for a long time I didn't even know the carvings were a face until I got it into some bright light at just the right angle. So yesterday I painted it purple and the face popped right out! I wish I'd taken a before picture of it, but trust me, it looks so much better now. I really like to mix things up and love it there among all the old cracked and broken pots.
