Bath time!

With all the pollen and debris coming from the Oak Trees in the back yard right now, we usually clean out and fill the bird baths with fresh water almost every day. I had just finished doing that and a Blue Jay flew in right behind me as I was walking away. I was delighted and entertained for the next 20 minutes or so watching one happy bird!











I love the splashing and flying and dripping drops of water . . .








Here I caught him in a mid-air hop a split second later . . .




A tiny drop of water in his beak . . .


I love this one! "Hey, you lookin' at me?"
