I'm going to the Art Center today with Debra. We are mainly going to see the exhibit by watercolorist Mary Whyte, but I haven't been there in quite awhile, so there will be lots of other art to see, too. Debra will pick where we go to lunch.
I finished six hummingbirds this week. I'll take pictures tomorrow. Two of them are commissions to be picked up on Sunday, and the other four I'll take to the gallery.
The Garden Sentinel that hangs on the trunk of one of the oak trees out back will keep watch over things while I'm gone. A huge air plant fell from the tree (limb still intact) during the last big winds we had, so I stuck it over top of the sentinel. (The sentinel is originally a birdbath that Debra was making, but it cracked in the kiln, so I got it! Yay!)
