Sun going down in the hills of PA . . .
Last night I was going through some old pictures and I came across this one from 2012....my last trip to PA. Mary Lou, Dave and I were on a little road trip for the day. We were on our way to Falls Creek (where our dad was born), but we made stops in the woods looking at hunting shanties (Dave was our tour guide for this), then up to elk country (saw lots of elk) stopped at the cemetery near Falls Creek where relatives were buried. Finally we stopped somewhere on our way home to enjoy this view. ...that's my sister on the left . . . taking the same picture I was taking.
One of these days I hope to get to the rest of the pictures from that trip.
EDIT: After I posted my picture this afternoon from 2012, my sister (unknown to me) went on a family outing yesterday and ended up taking a picture from the exact same spot we were at -- almost three years later! Mine was taken in September 30, 2012 and hers was August 18, 2015. Uncanny! See her comment and link to her picture (egg_shell) below.
