Wednesday news . . .

Pete is going through a rough spell right now with mounting and more frequent pain. Yesterday the PT gave him hell for not taking the pain meds prescribed, so now he is back on them again. Yesterday, last night and today so far there has been much pain, like an ice pick, he said. He has an extra appt. with the Dr. today to get checked out. Pete's theory is muscle spasms. Also, I saw a little redness and swelling around one of the incisions, so I'm glad he got the appt.

I'm feeling pretty good, back to normal from the flu.
My scar continues to heal slowly. One little scab is left in the middle where the cancer originated. Still very tender to touch.

Tonight is a Gallery Meeting. We are getting a group photo taken for our 25th Anniversary coming up soon. Friday night is a Gallery Reception/ArtWalk for many of the galleries & shops on the Island. I'm planning on going. I don't know if I mentioned it before or not, but I'm not seeing well for night driving and a gallery member/friend, Susan, who only lives a few blocks from us, is going to be picking me up for night meetings from now on, until I either get new glasses or cataract surgery.

I need to get some new sheets before the arrival of our new bed this Friday. I don't often clean under the beds, but I should at least see what is under there and how bad it is before they come in and tear down the old bed and set up the new one.

I feel like I'm treading water and getting nowhere with this Etsy store. I did get it back up and running again, but I really need to keep up with it and add new things every few days. It's kind of hard working between the gallery inventory/sales and Etsy inventory. There just are not enough hours in the day to do all I want to do. I think I need to hire a PR person. :)) Oh well, I've always thought that.

Before it all gets away from me, here are more Infrared photos from Monday at Neal Preserve.

Here I converted the infrared above to black & white. I'd be interested to know which one you like better? Have you got a favorite?

A nice frame looking out from a pavilion there. Here I also converted the infrared to a black & white.
