I'm taking the day off from working outside on the mound. I am so stiff I can barely move, so a day of rest from bending and stooping is in order.
We got 40 more bags of rubber mulch this morning and Pete's calculations were pretty spot on as we only had 1 bag left over. We can use that though if any bare spots ever appear. I'll try and take more pictures in the next day or so.
Today I will do laundry, wash linens in the guest room and finish that room all up so it will be nice and clean for my sister on Thursday. She left PA this morning and will stop in Alabama for a few days to visit with her friend, Berdella, then on to Florida.
I won a Merit Award for one of my entries in The Meadows completion. A Merit Award is under the Ribbons on the list and above Honorable Mentions. The prize is $50. Laurie, Tracy, Maria, Mary Lou and I are going to go there on Saturday to see all the other entries.
