A past Christmas revisited .....
Even though the photo on the left is of our two daughters (about age 1 & 3), I call this “Christmas at Grandma’s & Grandpa’s house.” Everything in the picture has a special meaning and I keep it up all year long.
I collect pottery and the two chairs are the very first clay pieces I bought many years ago for a buck or two each from a young artist just starting out. I had in mind they would represent Pete and me as we grew older together sitting side by side in our chairs.
The phone is one my father-in-law brought down to Florida many years ago and used until he passed away in 2006. It was the only one he had down here, never opting for anything more modern.
That is the first stained glass lamp I made probably 20 years ago as a sample to show clients. The picture frame is also a very early stained glass piece.
The clear glass tree was given by a friend who has since passed away.
And lastly everything is on is a drum table, one of my parents very early pieces of furniture.
