An assembly line of one …..
Maria came over today and became my little one person assembly line worker. She did a great job, working exactly and proficiently until the job was done. She had a snack of a glass of eggnog and stick pretzels. She enjoyed dipping the pretzels in the eggnog - her way and something I’d never heard of before.
Pile of ornaments. This box is 3” high and it was piled to the top in the middle.
Then she separated them into individual piles so I could see how many of each ones I had.
Working hard in total concentration. Here she is starting to put the price tags on them. I’ll price them myself next week. I hate that job of deciding what price to put on them.
Then she looked up and spotted me taking her picture.
I love the look on her face and I did a little inset so you could see “the look” better.
Then I had her pick her favorites of each and lay them out so I could get a picture of the different ones.
One of mostly everything...
At this point neither of us had done any counting and so we each guessed how many there were. I guessed 200 and Maria guessed 107. We’ll count them later.
Calculating the numbers….
Later: 149 were counted by Maria. Then she smiled and said she might have missed a few, but I’ll give it to her. Maria the winner!
(I have about 50 out at the gallery and about 30 others that aren’t in this bunch that need a little tweaking and a re-fire in the kiln. And I’m still not done, but I am surely slowing down. There’s a few more I want to make before the show.)
Working hard putting on all the price tags….
Tired of working hard. I get another one of those looks.
Maria has left the building….
Next we’ll put the note cards together. Lots of steps to that one. Now we’re off to R.J. Gator’s for a little dinner.
