a box of treasures . . .
When I was cleaning out my studio a few weeks ago I found a box full of clay faces and other things I'd made and glazed back in 2005. I like working with clay and I loved making faces. I remember I made them mostly to use in mosaics, and I did use some of them, but I guess I must have gotten interested in something else, packed them away and forgot about them.
Such a nice surprise.
I also found old pictures of some of the very first things I ever made in clay. I love finding things I've tucked away and forgotten about.
This was the very first clay thing I ever made---a little pencil holder for my sister.
