on the hunt - 67

Our day started at 6:30 a.m.

The electrician came at 7:30 and was here until 11 a.m. working on three sources of electricity. It was Joe’s brother Mike and he gave us a great deal on labor. Joe was here also and got the screen covers on all the vents on the roof for us.

Last night I was hearing noises in the walls and seeing shadows running across the floor from the corner of my eye. And I had weird disjointed dreams that I didn’t remember after I woke up, but knew they had the essence of creepy. I am feeling better today and have lost most of the fear of rats invading us.

I worked on matting and framing the prints I sold and got them done by early afternoon. I also found on line where I can buy mats and frames, and other supplies for very reasonable prices. I am not really one to buy something unless I can hold it in my hands, inspect it or try it on, but I’m going to give this a try. Since the photography and glass share the same studio, I can only do one at a time. So now that I’ve got the photos done, I can get back to some glass work.

I have done nothing with my new phone for three days now. I just have not had time. I do want to play around with the camera and see about some apps for it, but so far I haven’t had too great of a desire to do that.

We got Subway for an early dinner tonight. I love their flatbread sandwiches and the six inch is just perfect for me for a meal.

After dinner I went down to the pond for a quick walk around and watched the sun set. I spotted an egret high up in some trees across the road and got my “on the hunt” picture for today.

I’ll set the clocks ahead in the morning.
