Allyson's orchid . . . .
My friend Allyson is celebrating her birthday today, but she brought ME a beautiful orchid. It is just like her to do something like this. Such a giving and generous soul she is!
I took these pictures early this morning by the first light in the bathroom.
You can see there's another full spike of buds to open. Yay! I don't know what kind this is (my guess would be Cattleya, but the tag only says hybrid on it. It has a light scent.
