More of what’s happening around here . . .
I have been working on my next glass commission and got about half of it cut out yesterday. I worked all day in the studio and today I am going out to lunch with a friend I haven’t seen for quite a while. I’m also taking my SD card to Johnsons and to see if they can retrieve my photos.
My sister gave me a lensbaby for my birthday, but so far I haven’t been able to figure out how to even get the lens on the camera. I’ve tried several times, but no luck yet.
Pete and I are planning a party here on December 1st. His last day of work is the Monday after Thanksgiving so we’re kind of celebrating that, plus, we really wanted to start using the fire pit more since the nights have been so beautiful and much cooler.
We’ve invited about 30 family and friends. The menu is being planned, but it will not be hamburger & hotdogs (or turkey). . . I’ve got something else in mind. It will all pretty much be held outside. We will set up the bar and several tables on the patio around the pool and in the yard.
I made the invitations from one of the photographs I took of the fire pit in use and sent them out yesterday. .
