New camera coming . . .
Well, now I’ve taken the plunge, too, along with my sister, egg_shell. I have just ordered a new camera and lens. We have both been researching cameras all year, so we have been thorough, that’s for sure. We are both getting the Nikon D5000. I am also getting the 18-200 mm lens, too, and she's getting a super Lensbaby lens.
This is my first DSLR, and I am so excited! My other two cameras have been a Kodak Easyshare, that I’ve had for about four years; and my little pocket camera, the Panasonic Lumix, that I just got six months ago. Any photos on here have only been with those two cameras so far. Before that, I never took any pictures, except a few with an old 35 mm film camera, so I definitely have a lot to learn. But my sister has been using cameras for many more years than I have and so I’m counting on her for lots of help and advice. I hope we’ll be helping each other.
