the end of an era
The bracelet I put on the afternoon of my sister's wedding and hadn't taken off once since has finally broken and vanished some time during the course of today (it only cost $25). It latest two months straight. I guess this must mean my sister is really married now!
Today was a really nice day. Kellie and I went into Newtown to meet Seumas. We got some salads to eat in the park for lunch and then went and saw Pan's Labyrinth. They had both wanted to see it and they both liked it. I didn't like it. It was two hours of ugliness without any of the things that have tugged me into other 'hard' movies such as Million Dollar Baby and Sin City. It was so relentlessly cold. I'm aware that that was the point, but I think it can still be done with much more humanity. It lacked... depth.
But yeah, Seumas and Kellie both liked it so *shrug*.
Then Kellie went into the city and Seumas and I had a cafe stop before coming back to mine to hang for the rest of the evening.
