old habits redux
I spent much of my spare time in high school chatting online to several people. I still think of these people as some of my closest friends and confidants, but leaving home and the limited access I had to the Internet kind of ended my chatting days. But Seumas has convinced me to download Skype (I used to be dedicated to ICQ, but no-one seems to use that anymore...), so if anyone has Skype and wants to add me, my username is cyberiagirl. The added bonus of Skype that I can see over something like MSN (which I refuse partly on principle and partly on pride) is that if I ever get broadband, then I can use it to replace phone calls. Yay cheap chatting!
After my post this morning I curled back up in bed for a couple of hours while things downloaded. Today I had my last self-defense class, was the last person in my two-hour tutorial to give their presentation (and someone asked me the same question I asked someone else and I couldn't answer it, grr), and walked home in the rain. But I took my umbrella in case of rain so I was actually pleased it rained since it meant that my preparedness was smartness!
Trying to find Cantonese names for my new Shadowrun character... hard! Grr... Maybe I will say that her family is from the mainland and not from Hong Kong. :P
Also am supposed to take dessert to Nath and Sarah's tomorrow night. Sarah is the dessert goddess, and I want to take something worthy, but cannot find something nice enough that will not take too long that Seumas will eat. :(
Hungry again! But I'm eating yummy lasagne for dinner, so I'm determined to wait. All this hunger must be because of the colder weather. :p
