Brad and I were talking about cars this morning--I don't know why. Here's my thing: if the first thing you have to say about a car is that it's "reliable," that car loses. Since I haven't changed anything in my room since high school, I still have my laminated letter to the editor of the Journal about those stupid uniforms. It was the only thing that hacked me off enough to take action in high school. Why, I have no idea. All I remember is that the only actual thing I could find associated w/ the term big blue was a type of deep-sea fish.

Yes we had a fight song, but unless you were a cheerleader or a member of a class before 1975, you probably wouldn't know the words. I don't.

I think we're the Big Blue because of the whole Hamiltucky connection. That was how my dad explained it, at least.

Also

I figured we must have had one. I remember being forced to learn Wilson's fight song for the first day of seventh grade, so it only made sense that the high school would have one too. I just don't remember ever hearing it.
