An ow, and a real, I'm not just being flippant, question.

Ow: Cardboard cut across my right palm. Motherfucker. I've got one of those giganto band aids on it, but it has seriously cut down my right hand abilities for the afternoon. My handwriting is quite amusing. Typing is quite annoying. If anyone asks, I'm telling them I developed a stigmata.

Real, I'm not just being flippant, question: In Gross Anatomy labs, where do you start and what is the subsequent order of investigation on your cadaver? Do you come in and it's already opened up, or are you expected to do that for yourself? I assume you would handle the organs and not, like, poke at them with a stick or something. What about the end of the semester? Do you still have a cadaver by that point, or just pieces of one? (I guess that was a cluster of questions, really.) I only need the general progression. I'm writing a story.
