So, I figure we've seen way too many bad/sad stories lately.
No, I don't think people shouldn't post them, and *yes* I *do* think you should read them -- the very least you can do is bear witness to what is going on here.
Whether or not you asked for this, we are *all* responsible for what's going on right here right now, and we need to do whatever we can to change it for the better.
It's the least a human would do and if you want to be among the humans it's the least you can do. Don't let your fellow humans fall, we need to be together. Help the ones that do fall and/or need help. And don't leave anyone behind -- you owe them *all*, all the ones that came before you did and made the place better for you too.
Remember, Labor Day is there because people worked their asses off (and many got severely hurt or died) to give you a 40-hour week, vacation time, safer working conditions etc etc etc.
*Please* don't let the corporations/conglomerates woo you with a stupid promise of "fewer/smaller taxes" (which they have been breaking all the time -- particularly by making the money you earn less valuable and the cost of living always higher, including health-care costs) and erode your/our hard gained rights away.
That all having been said, I've found this link again today. And I figured everyone needs/wants a very good dose of laugh out loud.
Have fun! ;-)
