Locked in, Working away

I have official Earthenwood Website business to announce today. I need to extend the current wait time for retail orders to late June for any new orders from the site. Also I have had to stop taking wholesale orders for a month. My production schedule has just become too full to take on any more or work any faster. I will be sending out a newsletter soon to my mailing list with more details.I thank you all for your support and for being the best customers a beadmaker could have! Because of you, I am able to do what I love for a living, and this is an incredible thing...a dream come true!
So I have been struggling with some really elaborate beading for the secret project. There are bits of brass, beads, and wire everywhere! I really struggled with getting these new pieces the way I wanted them, but I think I am finally satisfied. In the push, I also made a few beady "sketches", like the simple pendant above. I am in love with its elegance and simplicity. I want to make a bunch of them, with different charms and bits dangling from the bottom, and with subtle grimy sparkly gems and pearls. Sometimes simplicity and subtlety are *key*.

new work, steam stones, hiatus, shut it down
