Unexpected Change of Plans
Well, poop. I had planned a fun post today about simultaneous inspiration but I am not up for it now. I woke up expecting a toasty warm kiln full of wonderful new things and ended up waking up to a dead cold kiln with nothing fired. *cry* I don't know what happened, but I knew the element was about done so I am not entirely surprised.
I don't have a new one to replace it, so I have to go and search one out now. I have other things to order too, so I guess that is on my agenda today now. I *do* have another kiln that I can use but it is much bigger, and since I simply cannot fire a kiln without it being full, I have to glaze again today to get these orders done. Not what I had planned, but that's the way it goes, sometimes...
The pictures today are some really great bead bundles I am listing in the Etsy shop, with all sorts of interesting experiments. Ceramic bails, pendants with multiple loops, and in some of my favorite earthy colors. I'll be back tomorrow for a real post....
