Still cleaning up the house/studio and fighting with computers and printers today, so I don't have too much new to say. In my cleaning, I did find this pendant that I made that I had wanted to blog about. It was a prototype for a super secret project, but I decided on something else instead. It's a fun little experiment, though, so I thought I would blog it and add it to my Etsy shop later tonight, along with some other pendants that I just photographed.
The pendant is made from a
Vintaj brass frame and matching brass wire. Onto the frame, I wrapped four gorgeous 8mm crystal cube beads from
Rings & Things. I think it turned out pretty well, but the wire work part was a little tricky to do. I love the way the crystals are so sparkly, and yet earthy at the same time. Particularly that Crystal Copper color, which is becoming one of my new favorite Swarovski colors.
All right, my break is over, and its time to get back to straightening up and trying not to smash my computers and printer with a sledgehammer. Wish my technology good luck against me!
