Dream of Horses
Dear Anna,
There are many things in life to be happy for. Like tonight, my parents and I were together on our porch for two hours. Trivial Pursuit game in between us. Temperature somewhere around 78 degrees - enough that you don't need to check the thermometer. You just know that it's nice out.
It's great to have nights like this because we never know what pleasures or discomforts tomorrow will hold. I know there are a lot of things that I want to say and I know you would listen. Right now they're all jumbled together and I'm having too nice of a night to try and get them out. The simple part is this: I have no idea what direction I am going to go in the future. In many ways. What I do know is that I'm an extremely ambitious person and that wherever I end up it will be an experience.
I also know that summer nights like this are why we are here.
