A bit more settled
After almost a month of living out of Mr. Suitcase, the moving truck finally showed up last night, and filled my apartment with (rather beat-up) boxes. Unfortunately, one box is missing (A really big wardrobe box with my suit, and assorted jackets and my Lab for Chocolate Science lab coat). Still, its nice to have the rest finally. With my computer and such, I should be able to start getting thesis work done again, really. Also, once I unpack a bit, I should be able to use my kitchen to make food (and furniture will make that even better in a few more paychecks)..
Also, not that I have a computer with a jack for cables, and not just an old wireless card, I can get net setup, and have an install setup for next Saturday. Then I can check LJ without having to drive out of my way to the local public library to use their wireless.
People who know Seattle: Feel free to point me at more interesting stuff in the area.
Also, speaking of paychecks a few sentences ago, I just got my first one for the job out here. May it be the first of several...
