SO sad.
So I finally got around to reading the Spin with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on the cover and holy fuck. I knew there was trouble in paradise but jesus christ i didnt know they were on the brink of splitting up. Im so upset about this. I mean I love that new album more than anything. It is definitely in my top five all time favorite albums. And I wanted to go to one of their shows before I knew about all this, but they werent playing in Texas so I just kind of gave hope in hopes that they would add some dates or tour again soon. NOT LIKELY. Fuck.
I bought the Duke Spirit CD. They opened for Ted Leo and the RX in Baton Rouge. They are hot. I would suggest you buy it but that would probably be impossible for all my pals who read this because they dont have it in BR. I had to go to Tower. I need to stop fucking buying cds though. I get bored and then I go crazy and go shopping and buy things on impulse or go to a movie (which is not cheap). I dont even want to think of how many cds I have bought since I moved here. And books. And frappachinos. NO MORE. yea right.
So it seems like May is going to be a nonstop party for me. Party for Grace. Party for Kristy. Party in Natchitoches. And well being Leahs friend inevitably leads to partying. SO el yay! Some where in there I swear I'll get a job. Got to pay for NYC.
