"Ze, put a sock in it." Fred gives him a warning look.

"The Life Box?" Arcee turned on him, then rose. "Take me to it."

"Seriously I-" Ze stopped at the looked at big bot was giving him. "Um, ok," he turned and took off. Arcee thundered through the doors and down the hall after him, but Ron and the room's soldiers were right behind them.

"STOP!" Ron roared, furious. "Ze, if you don't stop RIGHT NOW-"

His words were cut off as he skidded around a tight corner.

"Oh crumbshe'sgonnagetsnuffedohcrumbsohcrumbs." Fred shoots after them, praying frantically.

Danielle walks under the Cube, tracing a glyph with her finger, then looks toward the door with a frown as Birk stiffens and birks a warning.

Arcee skidded in, then stopped and stared up at the cube. The moment of awe was broken when the cube let out a spark that hit her in the chest, causing her to shudder, then sigh in relief as every problem with her twitched, then rebuilt itself.

Ron burst in, and quickly all soldiers were crouching, weapons out.

"Freeze, alien, you're not cleared to be in here!" he thundered.

Ze let out a small eep and ran behind the cube. Arcee, meanwhile, mearely stretched and glared at them.

Danielle gapes up at the tall being, then blinks as the sandy haired man she's noticed in the break room throws himself in front of it much as Birk was standing in front of her (only without the hissing).

"No!" cries Fred. "Guys, don't!"

"Stand down, Doc," Ron barked.

"Can it, human. You have no idea what you're up against here," Arcee growled, leaning down over Fred, a hand closing protectively over his shoulder.

"Guys, please. I think we should hear her out before we do anything hasty." Fred's grey eyes are huge and pleading.

"Talk fast, robot," Ron growled. Arcee made an angry buzzing noise.

"I'm an Autobot. I'm here to help you, because in case you haven't noticed the Decepticons- that's our "evil other half" if you will, have arrived. They want to use this cube to turn all of your Earth machines into their leader Megatron's newest personal army. If he suceeds he'll be nearly unstopable and your race will be wiped out," she said.

"Why?" Ron frowned.

"Because Megatron despises all non-Cybertonian life," Arcee said. "You have to let me take the All Spark to my leader, Optimus Prime. He's the only one who has a chance of stopping Megatron if te Decepticons find him."

The soldiers stared, then all looked at Fred.

"Doc?" Ron said uncertainly. "You're the expert here. What do you make of this?"

"Megatron..." says Fred, blinking. "Big guy with lots of teeth and long creepy fingers?"

Danielle starts and looks at him, her gaze slightly accusing.

She blinked, then touched a small panel near her eyes, and a hologram about two feet tall appeared, clowly revolving.

"Hey, that's awesome!" Ze peeked over the side of the cube. "Hey Fred, you gonna tell her that's the guy in the freezer? Are ya? Huh? Huh?"

"Ze, I swear if you open your mouth again..." Ron growled.

Fred takes a kick at him. "You're going to get yourself snuffed, man!"

"What are you talking about?" Arcee grabbed him and lifted him up.

He looked at Fred and shrugged.

"Dude, I never thought I might have a chance with a chick. What can I say? It's love," he said, then looked up. "There's a HUGE one of you in the freezer that looks just like that picture."

"Not... here?" Her optics went wide.

"Ze!" Ron snarled.

"Yeah. Right here. Why?" Ze frowned. Arcee dropped him.

"He... no. Take me to him. Now," Arcee demanded, turning on Fred. "Is he still frozen? Has he woken up since you brought him here?"

Fred grabs Ze and bangs his head soundly against the nearest hard object as he hissed in a nearly silent voice, "I'll snuff you myself if you keep blabbing everything!"

People weren't supposed to know about the gender thing!

"No," says Danielle quietly. "Not since he's been here, but there was an incident in the arctic, wasn't there, Sergent Naliboff?"

Ron grimaced, but felt better as Ze gave a small squeal and started jabbering away for mercy.

"Yes. But we're keeping him well iced, so there's nothing to-"

"Do not say 'worry about'. I might not consider saving your race if you say 'worry about'," Arcee's growl was deep and dangerous. "You have to let me see him. Immediatly."

"Why?" Ron asked suspiciously.

"He needs to be destroyed."
