I AM ASSUMING SHE LEARNS HIS NAME AT SMOKE'S K ofgreen November 24 2009, 10:18:36 UTC
Aurora... so [struck out almost immediately]

So that's where our strange dreams came from. Normally I wouldn't want to share them - and definitely not now! That's extra cruel of this place. But [little blot] is amateurish really a nice way to put it?

It was a mistake made by people who are currently new and ignorant. I don't think there could be a more textbook definition for "amateurish."

Even though something fits... it doesn't mean you need to say it in a way that could make people feel bad.

When a person needs to be corrected, why should their feelings be taken into account? They made a mistake and deserve the repercussions.

Not if they didn't mean to! People already get upset and want to do a better job when they know they did anything wrong, isn't that enough?

A person's initial intentions aren't even a factor. Wanting to do a better job and actually doing a better job are two very different things; until the latter has been accomplished, the person should be pushed. If they are incapable or unwilling, they should be reassigned.
