Bridge, thank you for your assistance in repairing Sniper's mechanical sphere. I still haven't managed to fix the programming bug; apparently, it is only capable of repeating "lock on" at the moment. I may have to wipe its memory completely and program a new OS from scratch.
Inside its shell was a letter, addressed to someone's mother, father, and a third party whose name I cannot make out. Most of it is impossible to decipher, though judging by the curve of the script I would say it was written by a female. I wonder why the orange sphere would have it.
The harpies are a rather troubling development. While speaking with Locket, I came to the conclusion they may be the ones responsible for the limbs found in the tree's branches. They may be viewing us as food instead of just acting territorial.
