sayonara!

well, I've been here a day now...everyone is really nice but I'm so scared for when I'm not going to be able to understand anything they're saying. Good news is I'm going to be watching a lot of anime and dramas, maybe playing some Japanese wii-fit, lol. But as of 12:30 tomorrow, bye bye English...yikes. I don't know how the first year students are going to manage.

also...why do the Japanese hate cycling? I can't find anywhere that streams the Tour in Japanese. My summer = destroyed. :( :( :( that almost kills me as much as not being able to see HBP, because I WILL be able to see HBP eventually. But I don't think anywhere keeps a log of all the Tour footage and GAH. I probs won't be able to find out who wins, someone neeeeeds to tell me. grr, or someone learn Japanese so you can give me blow-by-blow action of the last kilometers of the race! ugh. ugh.

anyway, we get to choose from a list of clubs and groups to join, I'm thinking of learning some tea ceremony (maybe calligraphy or origami- too many choices!!) and then doing a sport or something, maybe soccer because it would be fail but fun fail. there was another option that sounded awesome but I can't remember what it was.

also, already tired of dining hall food. had a bagel for dinner. :( also, no free ben&jerry's in sight. TRAGEDY.

so...bye for the next two months, I don't think I'm allowed to be on here at all after tomorrow. sadness.
