(no subject)
We have another taker for Amsterdam! Now I have someone to sit and giggle with while Femke goes round all the art museums. Not that I don't like art, but after a while one naked goddess merges into another, and all those dotty people make my eyes hurt.
Also, got home today and guess what was on the doorstep? Only the swimming costume I'd given up waiting for. I have to tighten the straps to oblivion to get everything in the right place but other than that it fits. So now I have two, and one of them doesn't show off a large quantity of cleavage. Yippee!
Eh, other than that not much has happened. Parent's Evening was same as ever, except now I want to do Latin again, so I feel a talk with the Brashinator is in order. Hopefully she'll let me drop it if it turns out to be too much work, but I think if I translate the set books during the summer or something that'll take some of the pressure off, and she can't not let me do it. That would be mean. Probably might work better if I hand in all my homework. Or prove the Riemann hypothesis, which doesn't actually look too complicated (she says, having read maybe a quarter of the problem description).
It seems we shall all be doing a Rocky Horror cosplay in October, which I will actually push for and make people make their costumes so we can enter the masquerade. Because it would be totally awesome if we did. More pressingly, however, I need a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy costume for Mum's party (guess how old she is -_-), bcause I am not joining Femke as archeologist woman no 2. Ideas anyone?
