JTDMC: Episode 2: Aw Yeah
I am totally spamming you guys today.
So I took DMC to dad's because the PS got fixed through the power of a screwdriver and a handhoover. I kid you not. Its warranty would be void if it weren't six years old when we got it. I had tried doing Mission 2 once before on like Wednesday, but I still got killed because I used no tactics whatsoever and just sort of hacked at it and got killed whenever it burst through the floor. But today, well, today was different, because eyes were on me in the form of my now-11-year-old brother and I could not dissappoint! (Side note, Dante has a demon sneeze; "whirling like a demon sneeze" was also going to be the title of this episode) So I listened for the bells (thanks for the headsupvergils_girl !), dodged when he lifted back his scythe and got the hell out of there when he was about to come up through the floor. When he chased after me, instead of trying to attack him (because the AI is a cheaty cheaty little menance and always blocks) I just ran away shooting for dear life, because he aparently blocks less shots (alothough when I shot at him before he always caught it...) AND SO I COMPLETED THE MISSION.

So next was Mission 3 (duh). I go TWO STEPS and the bloody Enigmas start shooting at me. Bastards. I tried to jump up walls and hack at them at first, but they are smart and tend to shoot at things that try and sneak up on them, and delight in pushing me off the ledge, so I had to revert to shooting for dear life. Maybe I should switch to gunslinger... but then where would i be without dodge! Not dodge, wossname. Moving fast thing. But still, I lost half my life by the time I killed it, if it weren't for green orbs I would have been dead when all the demons attacked me.Still, now I know how to deal with the Lusts (red dudes), you attack them so they can't jump at you until they fall down, go off and kill other dudes, and then attack them as soon as they get up. Wraths however are still a pain because your guns want to shoot at other enemies and if you do shoot it, sometimes other enemies will slice chunks off you instead. Those cloaky things (Prides?) kept doing that.
But I survived! And then of course I had to do a "puzzle". Puzzles in DMC consist of hitting things. And occasionally hitting other things to find the wheel you have to hit. Not that I'm complaining, it's slightly better than jumping from ledge to ledge to rope to pole to ledge to bear to ledge to wolf to sliiiide! to secret ledge to switch. I do love that game... *ahem* So I got through the door, poledanced a bit, smashed more stuff and killed all the dudes. I went orbfarming in, well, the orbfarming road. What are those sparkles by the way? Got 9015 orbs and was miffed that I had only almost enough to get Air Hike, until I realised it cost 20,000 orbs -_-U.
And then I had to fight Cerberus. I failed. I avoided his paws mostly but anything he breathed got me. And he keeps switching heads once you get the ice off! I'm going to have to find some sort of tactic. Is there any way of moving fast without dodging, cause I may have to switch to gunslinger style.
Ah well, at least I unlocked easy, eh?
