Wow, I haven't updated the LJ in a long time. Of course, I don't even know who has this LJ address. I update the Xanga far more frequently. If anyone wants that address, IM me at "Indiana Cone".
I'm house-sitting for a prof. here in Columbia. It is a cozy little house stocked with geekery (he's an awesome guy, not your run of the mill professor).
Accomplishments this semester:
Wrote, produced, shot, and edited a short film derived from a television series I created/developed, coming in at around 18 minutes, which is about right for a 30 minute program with time for commercials. It's 90% right now, hopefully I'll get to work on it over break and finish it up. The version presented in class seemed to have been received well. I'm going to tweak some things and re-create a section for the final release.
Acted in an adaptation of "An Occourence at Owl Creek Bridge" for two very dedicated and talented guys. It came out really well and they even pioneered some new technology for our video program.
Co-Wrote a theatrical skit that will be produced by the CIU Performing Arts department to be performed publicly in their ministries.
Found a little more of my footing. God is working deeply.
TASKS FOR THE BREAK/NEXT SEMESTER:
Finish up OUTPOST EDEN.
Develop and write MIDNIGHT RISING
Continue developing MLU (the theatrical piece) as a feature film script with my writing partner and friend, Elizabeth.
