Proof I'm becoming a grown-up
Is anyone watching Life Unexpected on the WB? I finally saw last week's episode and Lux (the kid) was asking her mom for a huge favor (the fostering of her best friend). Unfortunately for Lux, Cate doesn't give her the answer she's waiting for.
I was in complete agreement with Cate and and with that agreement I realized I'm actually a grown up. Had I watched this show 20 years ago, I probably would have cast Cate as the villain in this scene but now I saw the wisdom behind her refusal to give in to her daughter's request.
