Good news for you Heroes fans missing the now-deceased Elle, Kristen Bell.
Honestly, from what I hear, very, very few of Heroes fans are actually missing her. But that's besides the point. This is, once again, just talk.
RT doesn't have the script yet.
"[The story is] 70 percent broken in my head.Oh, Rob! It's that "foot in mouth" decease striking again. lol. The story is 70 percent broken not just in your head. The entire season 3 was a major break-down
( ... )
I never re-watched season 3 on DVD. Isn't that sad? I guess I was waiting for more time to pass in hopes I would appreciate it more. I had no idea about the commentaries--very interesting.
You're right about none of it being definite/concrete. So is this just an attempt to keep it alive for VM fans?
Re: Cupid. Oh, I didn't realize that. I thought it was a sign of little faith; I hadn't considered the economy (duh).
While I, too, am glad he's dropping the FBI thing, I can still imagine him royally messing up with a Logan storyline. I know he said once that he wanted Logan to do something irredeemable, right? I'd hate to see that play out in a film.
I didn't rewatch Season 3, either. A friend of mine, out of the best intentions, and not knowing any of the season-related drama, but remembering I liked the show, gave me the season as a gift. lol.
But I did watch Special Features, and one of them was all about Logan/Veronica, and RT talking about that final scene, where Logan beats up the creep in the cafeteria and Veronica gives him this look, and Piz shows up... RT was saying that this was a significant and heartbreaking moment for Piz, in a sense that he realizes that he can never get between what Logan and Veronica have. That what they have is sort of forever... Something like that. Confirming what we already suspected and certainly hoped for.
So, to me, a movie is a huge risk of taking that away.
I'm with you in not trusting RT to keep to what he promised. Because he is reactive and acts on whims. And looks for drama in crappy places. In other words, you said it well:

It does seem like there's been so much talk about it, but nothing really concrete. I would probably see it if it actually got made, but I am not holding my breath.
I would see it, too, just to see this characters again--good or bad. However, I'm reminded of all the BUFFY movie talk after it ended and, well, you know, nothing came of that either.
You know, this is true, but now there's comics and that cartoon looked amazing. Although, I just don't think VM would be the same without the actual people we saw on the screen, somehow. Maybe it's still too recent.

Do not want!
He must be pretty desperate for work by now, all his other shows either get cancelled (again) or he gets 'replaced'.
