To any and all of the LBC folks headed out to NYC tomorrow morning - best of luck - be safe - and we are all praying for y'all up there. Oh by the way - up in my native land (Yankee land that is) a few key things you'll need to know:
(1) Hey yous guys means y'all - what ever group you are with
(2) Hey whatsa matta for you? - indicates that someone thinks you are doing something wrong.
(3) Inore all honking horns - they are truly meaningless and will give you constant whiplash.
(4) Always keep about fifty cents in change (and nothing else) in one of your front pockets...when the panhandler approaches - give him the change, turn you pocket inside out and tell 'em it's all you got.
(5) 9 out of 10 New Yorkers will wonder what is wrong with you if you say hi, smile or try to hold a door open for someone ...
(6) If someone closes their eyes for a second and nods their head in an upward fashion - that means hi, how are you, have a nice day.
(7) Something taken "to go" is put in a BAG not a SACK.
(8) "New Jersey" is only referred to as "Jersey" and "over the river"
