Katekyo Hitman REBORN! is the story of a no good middle schooler who is chosen to become the tenth generation leader of of the Vongola family mafia. And hey, what can get more platonic than a mafia family?

The obvious fact that this is a mafia family (albiet a bumbling one) aside, there's this little plot point about Reborn killing Tsuna with a magical bullet that causes him to be reborn and be super strong for five minutes, but only if he has a regret he needs to fulfill.

I will buy you a garden
Where your flowers can bloom
I will buy you a new car
Perfect shiny and new
I will buy you that big house
Way up in the west hills
I will buy you a new life
Tsuna's life, needless to say, sucked before Reborn came into it. He had no friends, his grades sucked, no one respected him. Now he has an entire legion of followers.

With the exception of a select few (Reborn, Gokuera, Lambo for starters) Tsuna have to keep it a huge secret that this whole mafia thing is the real deal.

Yamamoto starts off as Gokudera's sworn enemy, due to the fact he's close to Tsuna and no one else can be close to Tsuna on the off chance someone else becomes his right hand man. But throughout the series, Gokudera, while still spouting viral insults at Yamamoto, realizes he is in love with him he isn't that bad of a guy.
7. The Boy Is Mine - Brandy & Monica (Kyoko and Haru)
You need to give it up

It's not hard to see

I'm sorry that you
Seem to be confused
He belongs to me

Can't forget the women in all of this. Kyoko is Tsuna's everlasting crush, whereas Tsuna is Haru's, and both girls are, at Reborn's choice, of course, vying for the spot of Tsuna's wife once the tenth generation Vongola family gets off the ground.
8. The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny - Lemon Demon (entire family)
This is the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny
Good guys, bad guys, and explosions as far as the eye can see
And only one will survive, I wonder who it will be

And oh yeah, there's fighting. A lot of fighting. And it is awesome. And the Vongola family always wins, because they're the good guys, and this is a shounen series.

Pull the curtain down.
I wonder where you’ve been?
In the end, despite everything, Tsuna always looks back on his adventures and goes, "This is just the way it is." (Or, at least that's how I see it!)
