Today was Friday, which would have meant I had drum lessons, but when I got down there it was completely deserted. So I sat and waited all alone for like 10 minutes, but Mr. Bell never showed up. Rich Welles did though! He asked where everyone was, then asked if I was joining band. Everyone loves me now thta I'm joining band, it makes me feel special. You know, in a geeky way.
I'm still deciding on names for my drum sticks. The left one, the boy, is named Ash. That's final I believe. But the right one, the girl, I can't decide. I think it's a choice between Effie(Thank you Stacey! ♥) or Kay. I just want it to be short. Like, if I named her something like Sarah Josephine Williams III, then it would be not cool and couldn't roll off the tounge. You can't be like,
"Oh, these are my drum sticks."
"Really? Cool! What did you name them?"
"Oh, their names? Ash and Sarah Josephine Williams III."
"... loser."
You know? It just wouldn't be the COOL band thing to do. Everyone knows that. So. Effie or Kay.
Thank you LORD it's Friday. I forgot how much I love weekends, and it already feels like I've been in school for months. Except for that fact that I still don't everything down. Like between what periods I go to my locker, how to not fall asleep in History, what book goes to what class, ect...
