Woah update
Ok, going to be quick because it is LATE and I work in the morning.
Quick notes:
The global conference was awesome, lots of neat information (including some upcoming company information that most people do not know yet). Lots of good networking and good ideas.
Last week I was in CT at our headquarters. I got to pitch out to the HR leader for my business (3-4 levels down from the top person in GE) and his leadership staff (from all over the world). I killed it. Not only did I kill it to where people were telling me I did a good job, but the 1-level-down from the leader person said so and she is apparently difficult to impress....PLUS I was told later in the day that I did great by people who WEREN'T EVEN IN THE ROOM. Great exposure at a high level, hopefully I can leverage this someday.
I just finished a couple of website migrations so that I have everything controlled in one place. I hope to start a business offering very small (1-3 page) websites, possibly some basic social media setup, etc. for a very cheap price. I am going to target small businesses, restaurants, etc. I still need to learn more about Drupal customization so that I can really make neat sites quickly.
