It's so beautiful the way you wrote it. It captured the very essence of what I was thinking of when I read this.
Aristotle explained change in terms of a potentiality being actualized in something. In order for the sunset-sky to become red it has to have the potential of being red for that to be actualized. Squares don't have the potential to be round. You, Hali, have the potential to let the Spirit of God move through you because you never let the outside world destroy the innocence of the child within you; in your worst battles you were looked over. They knew you were a flower.

You wouldn't have been able to even if you had wanted to. This is your script. You could have been born under a different name but in the end you would still have been a flower. And even when the careless world runs through the gardens of life they will never crush your petals because intrinsically you are made of spirit.

There's so many things you say that I want to keep forever and read when I feel discouraged that no one seems to believe in beauty, anymore.
