While travelling, I developed a taste for having certain important things on my person at all times. So I carry a large military backpack, one with lots of pockets. I shan't be disappointed, however, as this is quite possibly the sexiest problem I've ever had.

a reminder that i really like the way your mind turns 'round and 'round. this, and you now have a perfectly sound reason/excuse to find yourself in venice again. the fall and winter months are spectacular and empty.

Is the tea bottle an insulated bottle or just another bottle? I tend to carry tea in a water bottle so I can guzzle it at room temperature or cooler

Actually, it's one of my coworkers empty glass kombucha bottles that I snagged when he was done with it. I like prolonging the use of otherwise disposable items far more than is reasonable. I also like it because it reheats easily on the heat sealing mechanism of my department's plastic wrapping machine.

The honey should come off with water (more damp than wet) and persistence. The leather should recover if you oil and/or feed it. My grandmother used to say vaseline is best if you get leather wet, which makes sense. I believe some of the leather foods are very good now, however.

I'm a little amazed you carry all that. Especially the three hats.
