-So my mom called with bad news today, as well. I'm almost tempted to not answer the phone when she calls except for how I'm the only person she talks to much anymore. My granny's best friend is in the hospital, ICU to be exact. Her colon shut down and part of it is dead and it's a really bad thing. They put her in a medically induced coma for a few days. I don't know how my mom and granny can handle something happening to her.

My mom practically raised her daughter. (she spent all her time with my mom. mama was like a nanny.) They have a lot of money and since Granny doesn't they take her everywhere with them because they want her to go places and see things and be happy.

It's going to be a tense next 48 hours.

-Some things that are good: Finally found Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy on DVD. and we also bought Ghost Protocol. What. We also found Practical Magic for $5! Yay DVDs!

-There are some days when my sister and I don't get along. Usually those are the days when one or both of us feel awful, she's worked too much and/or slept too little, I can't stand to be around people and get itchy under my skin when I'm forced to interact with them (this usually excludes my sister, but sometimes), or we've spent too much time together. Recently, we've been doing pretty great. We're managing money together, cooking things, talking about adult sorts of things and generally being friends as well as roommates and sisters. I like these days.

-I have new friends that I'm very excited about. :D I don't have an intro post or anything, but I can tell you anything you might want to know about me. I'll do a rundown.

I'm Stevie. Short for Stephanie. Don't ever call me Steph. :D
I am currently unemployed and help my mother take care of my grandmother (Mema) and my dad. Mema has Alzheimer's and Daddy has cancer. He's in remission, but he's currently got shingles, has to have more teeth out, and needs some supervision. Mema cannot be left on her own for any given length of time. We think she had a stroke the other day and recently she's been thinking she's twelve. She doesn't always remember us or herself, but we try to make sure we aren't threatening.
I live with my sister and our dog Mr. Bingley. He's a two year old dachshund and I love him like he was my own child.
I have two sisters and a niece and a nephew. They both play softball and we go hang out there a lot.
I also have two bestest friends: Tana and Angela. Tana lives close to me and I see her at softball because her daughter is the same age as my niece. We used to work together and I have loved her for four years. I'm on a campaign to get her to leave her husband and run away with me so we can be lesbians in a temperate climate, but it's not working so far.
Angela and her husband Kevin live in Arkansas and while I don't see them as much as I'd like, I love them just as much. I have known Angela since we were eighteen. We watch soccer at their house and are big Real Madrid fans.
I watch a lot of tv. A lot of it. I like tv. :D While typing this I am currently watching Grimm.
I have a tumblr and a twitter. I am on there a lot. A LOT. I blame the fact that I can access them both from my phone and my Kindle. My tumblr is so named because Bobby Singer from Supernatural is my dream husband. And my LJ and twitter are so named because momebie and I decided that I could definitely be the earl of cardigans as my wardrobe consists of so very many of them.

I also really like lists.

I think that's it for now.

-After this episode, I think I'm going to scrub this lipstick off my face, eat my fortune cookie, brush my teeth, and read Simon Pegg's book. Or watch Stardust. I'm undecided.

i watch a lot of tv, i like new friends, tana/stephanie, bobby is my dream husband, this turned into a family post, rambling, so much rambling omg, state of stevie, i can always blame netflix, movies, sisterly love, lists
