I'm hanging out on my mom's iPad in a small moment of reprieve from the dancing and karaoke going on in the other room. I did win two rounds of just dance, so woo. Now I'm celebrating with trash and punch.
So, I'm probably gonna have a nap before the new year and that seems par for my year--spend all the time with my family, exhausted, eating all the food and thinking that it's not really so bad being here.
I've liked my year. I might be down one Jess, and still at the same job, but I like myself and where I ended up this time.
My niece is summoning me back to help pick out songs and if I don't attend her highness, I'll end up with something religious or like the thong song or something equally hideous.
