“Your sister was wearing one of Matt’s shirts and no knickers,” announced the Doctor.

Another brilliant chapter- I love Brem's insane consumption of tannins and free radicals, Matt's insistence of not being left behind, and poor Athena's wish for a little more 'normal' time.
Can't wait for next week, as usual!!!

Brem wants to get better RIGHT NOW. He's impatient, knowing that there's stuff going on around him. Matt is eager not to let Athena out of his sight, and Athena is a bit like Nine: She really just wants the cab-at-2-a.m. life.
Glad you're enjoying!

Has Fortuna ever watched the movie “Waitress”? She needs to see this movie.
Here's what has me wondering - Fortuna hasn't touched the white-point star yet. Why not? Will something different happen for her than it did for her siblings? Or - and this is where I think you're going - since the star transmits back to Gallifrey, we can assume that since Athena and Brem touched it, Gallifrey now knows about them. If Fortuna hasn't touched it, they don't know about her, and therefore, that's protecting her. Is there a reason you're keeping her protected?
Also, you seem to wait until the very last moment to wrap things up in your stories, did you know that? You have seven chapters left and it feels like you are only now just starting. Not that I mind, of course, I've enjoyed every bit so far, but up to now we've been having some fantastic appetizers and soup and breadsticks and salad and now we're heading into perfectly-seasoned-meat-and

You're absolutely right, it does take me to the last minutes. This is mostly because I never know the actual plot until the last minute. I just let the characters kind of chat for a while, until there's some indication of the direction should be going in. But I love your description. Meat and potatoes next. Then maybe dessert?
As for future plot points: No hints! ;-)
