“I’m 927 years old. I know things.”

There was a pause.

“You’re 930,” said Mum.

“Anyway,” said Dad, looking back to the central column. “A TARDIS re-writing her logs.”

“Have you ever heard of it before?” asked Brem.

“No, but…” He trailed off, then admitted. “I, uh, really didn’t pay attention, in Academy, when they were talking about, well-”

“Anything,” finished Mum, wryly.

I love these exchanges. They're so normal. It's so silly that the Doctor lies about his age and skipped school when he was young, but it was so *him.*

Poor Athena. Don't worry. Someone will figure it out. At some level, even with the prologue, I want Fort to figure it out; she's so like the Doctor to me, even more so than Brem. Plus, she thinks creatively (cooking is a skill I will never have!).

Thanks for another lovely chapter! It was nice to see the family back together.

Thank you! I'm so pleased you're enjoying the family interacting. And I enjoyed writing the little bits of normalcy. Even Time Lord families have vain members who lie about their age, and members who weren't that great in school (possibly the same member!).

You're right about Fortuna's creativity coming out in her cooking! I never really thought about that before!

Yes, Theenie really needs to break up with Lim Right Away & then begin to consider seriously the Sweetness of Matt!

The moment that completely melted my heart was the Doctor checking Theenie's TARDIS: "he leaned over and laid a hand on the central column, speaking soft Gallifreyan to her TARDIS, who hummed in response."

Awww, the Doctor with his TARDISes. They're almost like other children to him!

I've a feeling they're on the right track, at least. Poor Theenie, thinking she's going crazy.

I love everything you write, but this is fastly becoming my favourite. I feel like I know this entire family, like I've watched them grow up. You have such a skill for writing realistic characters. :)

and Happy Birthday (tomorrow), Kristin! May Michael Sheen make an appearance in CHS in your honour. :)

Thank you! I will confess that I think this is my favorite thing I've written, too. ;-)

Hahaha! Michael Sheen at CHS! He would be so bewildered!!
