SNOW. Sure, we don't have any here yet, but I even love the bracing, hunkering-down portion that precedes a snowfall, the trips to the grocery store, the locating of the shovels and salt, the still, sharp silence that falls over the air.

There's supposed to be a giant snowstorm tonight/tomorrow. =/ My exams were canceled, which is kind of annoying.
