Facebook profiles can tell you more than just peoples' birthdays and what movies they like - they can reveal the self-adoring, a new study suggests.

I'm sort of happy I don't have a facebook but I'm sure the results of facebook would be the same for any socializing site. :)

Yeah, I posted that article because I think it relates to any similar sight, especially myspace or even live journal. I think it helps put some perspective on some of the obsessive people you come across on those sights.

This is true, and in a way I started to laugh when I think of the pictures that most people post of themselves and I agree with the article.

Yeah, I thought it was funny too. It's like... Does "coolness" and "popularity" on myspace and facebook equate to mental illness? Ponder that one for a while.

Or is mental illness equates to myspace and facebook? Just kidding I think it's sort of like the same conundrum of does life imitate tv or does tv imitate life?
