Okay, so I have the first two grades of my law school career. As I am a Mawrtyr and a Wahoo, all grade talk is behind the cut.
So, I got the grades for the two classes that I was most scared for - Contracts and Civil Procedure.
Civil Procedure is essentially a list of rules. My prof is excellent (I'm taking him again next semester for Evidence). The final was 6 pages long, with 6 questions. Our prof basically told us that no one would finish the final. I got to 4.5 questions before time was up. His curve is B+ heavy. And I got a B+. Which I call a win.
Contracts was the class that gave me the most trouble this semester. I didn't do too well on the midterm and I really, really didn't understand a lot of the material the first or second time I went through it. (Okay, that makes me sound like a moron. I understood it, but I couldn't figure out how it all fit together.) So I pulled it together, took a million practice tests, and got an A-.
A-. A-. A-.
FUCKING RIGHT.
And thanks to everyone for pointing out that my cut failed. Whups.
