That time of month again the checks just keep bouncing. Look guys, you know I’m sympathetic, but if you don’t pay your rent, I can’t pay the mortgage on the building. Now, while I’m sure we’d manage to survive if we all banded together in the streets all civil-like, that’s really not an option I want to explore.

Tenants, if you are not all immaculately up-to-date on your account by the first of next month, the locks are being changed, your stuff is being sold to cover your debt, and your ass is now the proud resident of a cardboard box. Are we clear?

In more optimistic news, I caught the guy who’s been tampering with my security cameras. I feel confident in my statement that he’ll never be able to handle the intricacies of electronics again now that the Arceos have taken him in.

It was my lucky day when I dragged him to the station, turned out he had a bounty. Guess who’ll finally be able to get some soy sauce for his rice? And cream for his coffee?

I’m actually really excited about this. The simple things, huh?

[PRIVATE; LOCKED]

Mission # 895-263-FT, Field Day 269, approx 1230 hrs.

Something needs to crack in this case. Soon. I’ve been following Akatsuki activity since Captain Hatake’s successful infiltration, but the kidnap victim cannot be traced. No reports extolling similar crimes, but to be expected. Captain Hatake’s victim is not reported in the public records either and someone is systematically locking down the internal servers.

Have so far managed to successfully keep the military out of The Clinic. The records stored there are useless and interrogating the doctor will only cause unrest within two of my suspects. The longer everyone stays mollified the more likely they are to grow lazy. The invasion is trampling that plan.

Captain Hatake is in worse shape still. He’s taken to communicating in pictographs.

I anxiously await the end of this mission so that I can summarily throttle him.
