Weekly Word Count 11.02. - 17.02. 2013

Last week's writing went pretty well. I could motivate myself to sit down to write several times and most of the time I got some words written, too. I have done two short fanfic drabbles which have entered the beta-reading process now and got started on my story for the Playing with Fire anthology. Well, basically I have some sort of outline (in my head) and written a rough draft of the first scene. Still, that's not too bad, is it? But now I think I'd need to do some research to enrich my world building and I don't really feel like it... Maybe I should first write a rough draft of the whole story and then add details that might come up in a research later? But the important thing is not to lose sight of actually writing this story! This happens to me a lot - I get started on a story and am very excited and then enthusiasm cools down until I've forgot about it. Don't even want to think about the many, many unfinished stories, most not even beyond the mere idea stage. Does this happen to anyone else?

Before I forget it, last week's word count was 1300 words. Yay! \o/
